Hi,

I'd thought we could gather some cool ideas for 2.0 here. Here is mine:

After closing Scribblet (and only when I pastet something in it), the next time I open Scribblet, the former pasted text should be a few lines down and contain a separator char (like ---). This way I can directly paste something new after opening Scribblet and I dont have to first press enter a few times to move the old text down to make place for the new one. Also the default input text area should be focused right after starting Scribblet.

What do you think?

A few simple problems that make Scribblet not very keyboard friendly..

Everything works great just hard to access if you don't want to reach for your mouse or trackpad. I think Scribblet was written with intents on letting the user quickly activate the app, write what they need to and quit, returning to their task at hand.

Version 2.0 has many improvements but one feature is a must! One click problem... I think an easy fix, but then again I have no coding skills so I can't say what is easy and what is not but it seems easy in practice.

When I have my hotkey pull up the scribblet window I would like to be able to enter the notes without having to go to my mouse and double-click the new or old note to get in and edit it and have to click "home" to get back to the main scribblet screen holding the folders and notes.

Would it be possible to have " Cmd + Enter " double-click the selected note and also maybe a hotkey such as " Cmd + [ " to get back home after I have written and saved a note?

This would allow me to completely roam scribblet w/o ever leaving the keyboard. Everything would be accessible for editing and organizing this way...
__
Now for dream features: Quick Labels... ( Cmd + 1, Cmd + 2, Cmd + 3, etc...) or a tag sort of feature. Not essential right now but would be essential in my opinion in future updates.

Right now I am prepared to buy the app as soon as I can control everything w/o having to leave the keyboard... my wish to edit notes and go back to the main screen with shortcuts that are common to many apple native apps. The " Cmd + Enter " to edit and the " Cmd + [ " to go back to the main window after writing my words. Thank you for developing this app and listening to users and allowing us to openly post our ideas. More devs need to let their users communicate w/ each other so thank you!

Cheers,
Mickey
